A city round, and one manufacturer
Viking Repair Boston works on Viking cooking and cooling appliances inside Boston: the Seaport towers and Fort Point conversions, the triple-deckers in East Boston and Southie, and the hill streets and Navy Yard lofts of Charlestown. Four appliances, one brand, and a van packed for those rather than for everything.
Why the city changes the job
A professional range is designed around clearances that a hundred-year-old kitchen was never laid out for. In practice that means side walls closer than the appliance wants, a hood that moves less air than the burners under it need, and a chassis that has to come out through a door frame narrower than the appliance. None of that is exotic — it is simply the difference between a suburban install and a Boston one, and it is why we ask about the room before we quote the repair.
Buildings add the rest. A booked freight lift, a loading dock with hours, a management office that wants notice: all of it is arranged as part of the appointment, because a visit that cannot get to the appliance is not a visit.

Four things we will put in writing
- One brand, four appliances
- Viking cooking and cooling appliances only. A narrower book means the parts on the van are the parts these machines actually fail on, and it means the second visit is rarer.
- Readings, then a number
- Nothing is quoted from a description over the phone. A price follows a measurement, and if the measurement says the repair is not worth doing we will tell you that instead of selling it.
- No forms, no mailing list
- This site has a phone number and a booking link. It does not collect an address, an email or a "request a quote" submission that lands in somebody else's call centre.
- Independent workshop
- Not affiliated with the manufacturer, and not presenting ourselves as approved by them. An appliance still covered by the maker belongs with an authorised provider.
You will not find a job count, a fix rate or a claim of manufacturer approval on this site. None of those can be checked from the outside, so printing them would be asking you to take our word for it. The flat $95 service call and what it covers are stated because they are things we can be held to.
